HERENTALS coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva is not intimidated by the stature of the club they will face in their next Castle Lager Premier Soccer League assignment. They host Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday. Mutiwekuziva, who saw his side dismiss a stubborn Blue Swallows 3-2 in a practice match at Rufaro yesterday, said they were working on the mistakes they made against Ngezi Platinum Stars.

They lost that match 0-2.
“We are well aware of the stature of the team we will be facing this weekend, but as a team we are ready and we will do our best.
“The good thing is we are having challenging encounters in the opening games, we respect Highlanders as one of the big teams in the country, but we are also ready to play them.

“In our last encounter we made some mistakes and that cost us dearly,” said Mutiwekuziva.
The youthful coach expects to see improvements.
“The team is improving with each passing game and I am happy for the youngsters, they are showing character.

“It is in games like these, against the big teams, where stars are born.
“We have potential and at the moment we have no injury worries and everyone is looking forward to bounce back from that Ngezi defeat.”

Highlanders edged Black Rhinos 2-1 at home last weekend.
