HARARE City coach Mark Harrison is in no rush to play captain Tendai Samanja and Malvin Gaki in their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against ZPC Kariba at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday. The two are coming from injuries, but Harrison believes they need more time on the sidelines.

Speaking after yesterday’s workout at ZB Sports Club, the Briton said they have a good side.
“We have several good players and Samanja and Gaki are coming from injuries and so we will not rush to play them.
“They are important players, but time will come when we will use them and that also applies to teenage sensation Calum English-Brown.

“The latter is still a teenager and at 16 he needs to learn a lot. For someone coming from high school football, the transition needs time.

“We are only targeting 40 points as a team and we managed to capture seasoned players like Kuda Musharu and Elisha Muroiwa before the window closes,” said Harrison.
The Sunshine Boys are coming from an impressive show in a goalless draw against CAPS United.

Muroiwa, who had a short stint in Tanzania, said he is happy to be back home.
“I am happy to be back home and to be at this club. It was a good adventure to try something else outside the country, but it did not work out the way I thought it would.

“I am now focusing on doing well at my new club by at least finishing on a respectable position. Competition is good for every player and once everything is sorted out I will work hard and see that I get game time.

“The good thing is we will be working as a team and that way results will definitely come. I have played with most of the players surrounding me so I don’t think it will be difficult to adjust,” said Muroiwa.
Harare City have at least five players who played alongside Muroiwa at the now-defunct Twalumba.
