The second edition of the gospel concert dubbed ‘Fearless Praise’ held on Africa Day at Celebration Centre in Harare was a success and well attended.

The show saw award winning Nigerian gospel jazz star Nathaniel Bassey taking centre stage and he dazzled the crowd with his sanctified trumpet as he dished out his hit songs.

Some of the songs on his playlist included, ‘Adonai’, ‘Yeshuah’ and ‘Hallelujah,’ among others.

The musician delivered an electrifying and spiritually uplifting performance for an hour which saw fans being ministered to by the Holy Spirit.

The show started late in the afternoon with some local artists such as Ezekiel Paul, Tembelami, The Cherayis’, Janet Manyowa, Pastor Bonnie Deuschle and the Celebration Church Choir performing on stage.

Kudos to Tembalami, the undisputed man of praise, as he put up a scintillating performance.

He performed his hit song ‘Mirira’ with the right notes and keys, sending the crowd into a spiritual realm.

It seems the gospel fans had missed his energetic performances as they all danced to his music.

Gospel couple of the moment, ‘The Cherayis’ dished out a song called “Ndinokudai,” and as soon they stepped on the stage, the crowd went into a frenzy.

Minister Ellard introduced his wife on stage and they started to sing together.

Songstress Janet Manyowa had a good day in the office.

She later shared the stage with Pastor Bonnie Deuschle.

Now it was time for Nathaniel Bassey.

He came, saw and conquered.

After successfully coming from a tour in Chicago, Nathaniel proved that he was a force to reckon.

The event was hosted by Maimba Mapuranga and Nkosi Kapswara who sailed energetically during the segment wearing African attire. Commenting on the show, fans said it was worth a while.

“Tembalami ministered to me, I don’t regret my time here. God spoke to me through them and I’m grateful,”said Nyasha Gavadza from Budiriro 3.

Another fan said they celebrated Africa Day in style.

“Minister Nathaniel is Heaven sent. We are grateful to have international ministers ministering in Zimbabwe and paving a way for local artists to learn what real ministering is,” said fan identified as Ashley Mupai.
