Hebrews 13 vs 20-21 (NIV): “May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will . . .”

We are often asked to perform tasks or undertake work that when we use our human eyes to contemplate whether we have the capacity to, our human frailty tells us we are not able to.

In fear, we run away at the prospect of the work that is in front of us, we look for every excuse under the sun to justify why we cannot do it.

So many of us are reluctant leaders or workers.

Moses was a bit like that; despite seeing the glory of the Lord in a way that very few men had ever done, he could not bring himself to undertake the commission he was given.

We are also like that, we will look for very excuse possible: “I can’t speak”, “I have kids”, “I don’t have money”, “I am not educated”….the list is endless.

The truth however is that whatever the Lord has commissioned you, He will give you the ability to do it, despite your weakness.

Is He leading you in a particular direction but you feel unworthy?

Trust Him at His word today, He will help you. Stop running.

Be blessed.
