DYNAMOS team manager Richard Chihoro believes their showdown against Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium today will be a competitive match.

The game starts at 1pm and is the curtain-raiser to a game between the World Legends and their Zimbabwean counterparts.

“Games against Highlanders and Dynamos are like Cup finals which no team expect to lose and tomorrow (today’s) game is no exception,’’ said Chihoro.

“We do not take any game as a friendly, especially when playing against Highlanders or CAPS United, as they are our perennial rivals.

“I don’t know which players the coach will unleash to do the job, but I think everyone knows what to expect when facing Highlanders.’’

Lloyd Mutasa’s men beat their rivals 2-1 the 2018 ZNA Shield final earlier this year.

Bosso are on a rebuilding exercise under the guidance of Madinda Ndlovu.

After a strong start to the league championship race, the Bulawayo giants, who are chasing their first league championship in a dozen years, appear to have faded in recent weeks. They have been strong performers in the capital, though, where they have beaten Dynamos and Harare City and drawn against Yadah in league matches. However, Bosso have been vulnerable at home where they have crumbled under pressure and lost points they were expected to collect.

They fought gallantly in their last league match against FC Platinum at Mandava and would have been full value for a point.

However, they succumbed to a last-gasp goal.
