10:14 – Dr Grace Mugabe’s rally at the City Sports Centre. Thousands of people have converged for Amai Mugabe’s meet the people tour. The venue is now almost filled to capacity, with thousands more waiting outside.

10:19 – Harare provincial leadership lead by Cde Amos Midzi has arrived and now waiting to welcome Dr Mugabe.

10:21 – Deputy Secretary for the Womens’ League Cde Eunice Sandi Moyo, Dr Olivia Muchena, Cde Sithembiso Nyoni also lining up waiting to welcome Dr Mugabe.

12:24 -The programme has now officially started and introductions are being done.

12:44- Harare chairman Cde Midzi takes to the podium. He says as a province, we welcome Amai Mugabe. He said we know she is a cell member in Highfields.

12:46-Cde Midzi: “We stand guided by you Amai and hope yo’ll unify the province for the development of the party and the nation at large.”

12:48 – Cde Midzi appeals to Dr Mugabe to assist in stopping demolition of houses that is being carried out in Harare province.

12:55- Secretary for Women’s Affairs Cde Oppah Muchinguri thanks people for coming, highlighting that it has been a well attended rally. She said we should stand stand guided by the Constituition in whatever we do.

12:58-Cde Muchinguri says Amai Mugabe represents everyone, not members of the Women’s League only, but even War Veterans because ndiamai.

13:00- She says the late Cde Sally Mugabe used to lead the Women’s League and provided for everyone, be it widows, orphans, youth and the disabled. As such hopes are being pinned on Amai Mugabe who has done a lot through her philathropic work.

1:09 Cde Muchinguri said Pasi ne factionalism saying  it had destroyed the party such that even , her as leader she could not advocate for that in her province.

1.15 First Lady prepares to stand to the podium.

1:16 pm First Lady said we are proud of our doctors and especially what they have done to for Siamese twins who have just been discharged from hospital.

1.17pm: Today should change the face of Zimbabwe politics and factionalism is going to end today, she declares. She said the spirit of forgiveness should be amongst us. First Lady calls Mashayamombe and said “I forgive you , whether or not you said anything bad about me.”

1.20pm : Shadreck Mashayamombe, Harare South MP, let us work together, First Lady said. Love, pace and unity should guide us always.

1. 22pm: Amai Mugabe  calls Cde Amos Midzi to the podium. She said we chose Cde Midzi to lead the party, we don’t want to disturb him in discharging his duties.

1:23: She calls Gomwe to the podium

1 33.pm : She said Gomwe apologized to Cde Midzi in her presence and she says it now time for the two to work together…The two join hands amid Gushungo, Gushungo chants from the crowd.

1.35pm: This is our own unity accord, says between herself, and Cdes Midzi and Gomwe. The First Lady, said the economy is bad but she pointed out that “good things should begin at home and with us”

1;37Pm She said lets forget about factionalism and concentrate on service delivery. She blast council for for having running battles with people, saying this should end immediately. Amaui Mugabe turns to service delivery, ” We are all responsible for the rubbish that is around the capital city…let us work together to make our city clean”

1.40pm : She slams housing demolitions, saying people should be be engaged and authorities should build for them first before displacing them. “Let us work to fulfil election promises for people to have faith in us otherwise it would be difficult for us in the next election

2.00pm: Zimbabwe came through bloodshed and let us defend it. No amount of money can buy us. Some have even attempted to buy us out but we remain resolute kana tichitambura, ngatitambure tese, she says.

2.04pm: The First Lady said heroes are those who work hard to develop their country . ‘Our programme ZimAsset should be what we are focused on’ She says women are the ones mostly being used to fan factionalism
