The event is being organised by the Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government, Rural and Urban Development.
CCAZ executive secretary Mr Rinos Mautsa said the DPM has since confirmed his attendance.
“I can confirm that DPM Arthur Mutambara will officially open the conference this Thursday,” he said.

The conference will focus discussion on Government and business organisations’ global competitiveness and lay emphasis on strategic approaches and forward-thinking ideas to ensure consistency in transporting responsive customer service delivery.
Mr Mautsa also said in the private sector customer satisfaction and loyalty are often seen as essential for survival and growth. He, however, pointed out that the public

sector also shares the same responsibility as the private sector when it comes to service delivery and local authorities are also geared up for this challenge to be readily available for its citizens.

The conference will be running under the theme “Bridging the Gap: Proven Commercial Practices for Helping Organisations to Deliver Services Better, Faster, and at Lower Cost”.

A number of topics will be discussed on topical issues such as service delivery, with focus on streamlining service delivery, improving customer service and with aim to establishing a profound knowledge of proven strategies that can potentially change the future of the customer care service delivery in the country.

Some of the indicated keynote speakers include renowned author and researcher on customer loyalty Professor V. Kumar (India), REAP Consulting chief executive Mr Doug Leather (South Africa),  Minister of Local Government Dr Ignatius Chombo and the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Engineer Walter Mzembi among others.
