Meanwhile Victoria heads her sought-after fashion label, David keeps busy with DB Ventures Limited, which is ‘focused on exploiting the David Beckham brand.’

A Beckham family spokesperson told MailOnline that their decision to re-structure their various businesses and to disentangle their brands from one another is largely an accounting issue.

“David and Victoria’s respective businesses have grown strongly in a short space of time.

“They are different businesses — DVBL is a licencing and partnership business, VBL is a luxury, fashion brand — and it makes little commercial sense for them to continue to be merged together and report combined figures.”

The husband and wife duo still have plenty of business to discuss.

Last year they created Beckham Brand Holdings Limited, an umbrella company that is equally owned by David, Victoria and their long-time manager Simon Fuller, and which owns their respective businesses.

“As a consequence of this reorganisation, David is no longer a director of VBL and Victoria is no longer a director of DBVL.

“Both David and Victoria are directors of BBHL, the holding company, and participate together in quarterly board meetings.”

Victoria’s eponymous fashion label has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2008, and it opened a store in Hong Kong — its first outside of Britain — earlier this month.

The company’s latest accounts show that it turned over £34 million in the year ending December 31 2014.

As she jets around the world expanding her fashion empire, the Harlow-born beauty needn’t worry about leaving her boys and adorable daughter Harper alone with David.

On Friday she shared a sweet snap of him proving his dedication to the four-year-old as he patiently practised his needlework in order to make doll clothing upon his little girl’s request.
