This is the computer generation in which technological development is not stopping at anything as more and more spectacular inventions are introduced everyday. Names like Bill Gates,Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerburg to mention a few will always surface whenever people talk about computer technologies and their development.This is because these men made a difference which will last for generations to come by introducing something unique and useful across all divides of people.

They have laid the foundation of computer technology which many people are improving by bringing in new applications which are relevant to their vicinities.

Innovative minds are therefore trying to discover something new everyday improving on the earlier innovations while trying to catch up with the latest global trends.

Zimbabwean teen, Collins Jimu (17) has come on board to also contribute to make a difference in the computer programming world.

Jimu who believes talent is his main drive is a proud developer of four applications which will be published on Google Play Store in this month.

Amongst his inventions is also a social network project “Jimuechat” which work on Apple and Android devices making it easier for subscribers to chat easily just like on Whats app.

He said that “Jimuechat” is much more improved than Whatsapp for many reasons amongst them being the ability by the administrator to ban anyone who abuses the app.

“Jimuechat is much more improved because its not only a mobile app but also can be used from a website,”Jimu said.

“If you abuse Whatsapp chances of being banned are slim whereas on Jimuechat the administrator has access to any information and can suspend any member,” he added.

Being a form five student at Chibi High School which is a missionary boarding school were there are less resources, Jimu found it fit to also enrol for a diploma in Information Systems and Computer science through Allison.com which is an online college so as to improve on his talent.

The young man who draws his inspiration from Microsoft tycoon Bill Gates and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg said that he intends to own a big programming enterprise.

He wishes to make and develop applications at large scale just Microsoft and also to reach social network target set by Facebook.

In addition to that Jimu would want to own a major email service provider just like Gmail amongst the least of his achievements.

Jimu said that he is a kid interested in exploring about computer science so the only option he has for his future to turn out for the best is to study more in line with what he loves best.

He intends to create more apps which are user-friendly especially to the people in the country.
