A new social group has created a platform to enable people from various walks of life to meet and share knowledge on different issues.

The group calling itself the MCM VVIP Club will host business leaders, captains of industry, celebrities, socialites and the who is who in Zimbabwe for entertainment and an opportunity to do business in a pleasurable manner.

The events will be hosted under the theme: “business is pleasure”.

According to the organisers, those seeking an elite experience will have an environment to dine as elite members of the society at the events.

The first event will be held next month in Borrowdale, Harare, the organisers announced on Wednesday.

Present during the announcement was the club chief executive, Anthony McMullen, project manager Richard Kohola and brand ambassador Tammy Moyo.

Also present were musicians, Nutty O and Ishan who will perform at the event together with Holy Ten.

The aim of the club is to deliver VVIP experiences, help unlock the ability to network and grow profitable businesses.

Kohola said the intention was not only to bring people into one place, but to promote Zimbabwean musicians and make them recognised.

“This club unites captains of industry, leaders, business people and celebrities who can come in one place and interact, network and enjoy top class entertainment,” he said.

“It is also about the promotion of art of musicians.”

McMullen said: “We will have international guest artists performing for our members several times a year for an all-round membership class VIP experience.

“In the meantime, we are going to put on MCM VVIP shows starting on Saturday 22 October at the Palms Borrowdale delivering an overall VVIP experience from venue, musicians, food, drinks, lighting, production, table service, car parking facilities parking attendants and security.”

He said they wanted to build a strong database of the participants.

Tammy Moyo said she was looking forward to the new club and she was hoping for a great outcome.
