CHURCHILL rugby captain Tafadzwa Mukoryora was one of the key players who contributed massively to his team’s victory when they thumped hapless Prince Edward 44-17 in the schools rugby league at Nigel Phillip Ground on Saturday.
At their favourite hunting ground, the Bulldogs were in control of the ball in the entire match.
Their first try came from Robin Chionyere in the seventh minute but Mukoryora missed the conversion.

Chionyere touched down again and this time Mukoryora made no mistake with the place kick.

By half-time the Bulldogs led 20-7 against the Tigers who could barely get hold of the ball. In the second half both teams were playing good competitive rugby but the Tigers could only afford to acquire 17 points.

Mokoryora scored six conversions and only missed two and Calvin Chikore scored two tries while Shingirai Kowe and Tommy Vambe contributed with a try apiece.
