Bombing incident: Security guard dies

The security guard who sustained severe burns in the petrol bombing of the Zimbabwe Institute of Legal Studies offices owned by Zanu PF Harare provincial chairperson Cde Godwills Masimirembwa has died.
Police are still compiling the forensic and laboratory report as investigations continue.
The petrol bomb destroyed property while the guard manning the premises sustained severe burns as a result of the attack.
He was admitted to hospital where he died yesterday morning.
The guard has since been identified as Tyson Mashoko (31).
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said more details would be released in due course.
The petrol bomb was allegedly thrown by an eight-man gang travelling in a three-vehicle convoy.
Police said the motive for the attack remains unknown and investigations were continuing.
A team of police experts was deployed to investigate the matter.
