Government positions are not for sale and Zimbabweans should report any officials from the commission that charge them for recruitment, the Public Service Commission said yesterday

The call follows revelations that nine officials in the commission’ secretariat were suspended on charges of corruption relating to clandestine recruitment of people in the public service.

“Jobs in the public service are not and have never been for sale. Should there be anyone out there who has ever been approached by anyone to pay at any stage, allegedly to facilitate any human resource process, Public Services or release of pension money, they should come forward and report this activity.”
