Baba Harare changes name

Braveman Chizvino popularly known as Baba Harare has sent social media abuzz after changing his name to King David.
The musician who quit secular music as part of his journey to reformation breaking the hearts of many seems to have fully settled in his newly found fame.
In an interview, King David said his name change is a testament to how his life has transformed over the years.
“It is the name aligned to my brand now, I cannot still use the old name as I have been born again,” he said.
“The path I am in now requires change and it had to start with the name.”
King David is due to release his album “My testimony”, which has been met with mixed feelings as fans reacted differently.
A fan Arkces Graphic Guy took to social media to share his thoughts on the change highlighting the musician should have remained in secular music.
“Lock, drum and gospel do not get along, go back to your acoustic guitar, play rhythm, and lead. Create music not hits you are talented,” he posted.

However, some believe this is King David’s Jacob moment as the shift represents his divine encounter only an eyewitness can tell.
Tapiwa Monde Mashanda acknowledged the change appreciating the journey to being born again is never easy nor would many understand.
“I think there is going to be a new era in Gospel music and I love it. Welcome #KingDavid,” he wrote.
Lennox Takue echoed sentiments of other fans appreciating the new normal brought by King David
“Keep up the good work God will keep helping you sir,” he said.
