The 2024 NASH athletics competition held last weekend under the Glen View-Mufakose district at Eaglesvale Senior School were successful as there was high level of participation in extracurricular activities.

The district competitions helped students develop important soft skills that will be valuable throughout their lives.

These skills include communication, problem-solving, and creativity.

They also gained confidence and learned to handle pressure and adversity. The event drew hundreds of competitors from schools across the district, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation.

The competition was fierce, with athletes giving it their all in events like track and field, while the results were impressive, the real winners of the day were the students, who demonstrated the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance.

They showed that it’s not just about being the best, but about doing your best and working together to achieve something great.

The 2024 NASH Glen View-Mufakose district competitions were a true testament to the power of teamwork and dedication, and the students should be proud of what they accomplished.

The competitions were not only about the individual events but also about the overall experience of being part of a team.

The students got to interact with others from different schools, make new friends, and learn from each other. They also got to experience the thrill of competition and the feeling of victory or defeat.

Glen View 2 High School has been the undefeated champions of the district for the last few years, and they continued their winning streak this year by having 37 gold medals,13 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals. Their impressive record is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and staff.

They’ve shown that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.  Will they continue their dominance next year?  Only time will tell.

The pupils of Glen View 2 High School should be proud of what they’ve accomplished.

So keep your heads held high, Gle nView 2 learners, and know that you’ve done something truly remarkable! The DSI Mr H Mutisi emphasized CBC, or Compliance-Based Curriculum, which is an innovative teaching method that focuses on helping students meet specific standards and goals through performing practically.

At Glen View 2 High School, CBC has been instrumental in helping students achieve success in their academic and extracurricular pursuits.

The curriculum helps students learn how to set goals, track progress, and achieve success in a systematic and the club for measurable way.

This can be applied not only to academics, but also to competitions like the district sports events.

The district competitions are a great opportunity for talented students to showcase their skills and abilities.

It’s a chance to meet other like-minded individuals, form friendships, and learn from each other.

Even if you don’t win, the experience of competing and being part of a team is something you’ll remember for the rest of your life. So don’t be afraid to take a chance and put yourself out there. You never know what amazing things might happen.

In the end, it was Glen View 2 High School who took home the 2024 Glen View-Mufakose district trophy.
