Artistes, guests start to arrive for ‘Spirit of Praise,’ Volume 10

Some of the guests and artistes billed to perform at the ‘Spirit of Praise,’ Volume 10 – (SOP) tour concert have started arriving in the country.
The tour which will be held on Saturday and Sunday will see the Spirit of Praise team led by South African singer Bishop Benjamin Dube performing.
The tour will be held at the Rainbow Towers, main auditorium in Harare this Saturday and at Harvest House International Conference Centre in Bulawayo the following day.
Some of the members of SOP are Dumi Mkokstad, Omega, Mmatema, Mpumi Mtsweni, Takie Ndou, Sindi Ntombela, Canaan Nyathi and Everton Mlalazi.
Guest performances will be United Kingdom-based Zimbabwean songstress Eleana Makombe, The Unveiled, Harvest Music and Vocal X.
Meanwhile some of the team from South Africa jetted into the country on Tuesday including Eleana Makombe.
“I am happy to be back home for SOP and I also have another event on October 26. We have just started rehearsals and it will be a good show,” said Eleana soon after arrival.
SOP project manager Rumbidzai Matinanga said preparations for the two-day event are at an advanced stage.
“We have started preparations with the stage mounting set. Some guests from Malawi, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Zambia have started to arrive. It is going to be fireworks and so far so good with the rehearsals,” she said.
