The video for “Africa”, a song featuring Jah Prayzah, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, P Square, Akon and Fally Ipupa, is now set for release.

“Africa” features various artistes from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Nigeria.

The song is a project under African Leaders for Change organisation which was recorded in late 2017 for charity awards and released in 2018.

In an interview with The Herald Arts, musician Jah Prayzah said the video for the song was due shortly but the actual dates are known by the project managers.

“The video is coming out soon and I cannot comment much on the date of release since I am just a member of the project that started a while ago, therefore the organisers are in control, “said Jah Prayzah.

He said the organisation behind the charity project was finalising the video in terms of piracy and copywriting

Jah Prayzah said it was exciting for him to record and work in the same studio with music legends of Africa like Fally Ipapu and Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

“It is an honour for me to be part of the project as it allowed and opened doors for me to do so much good through music. Sharing the studio with the music giants of Africa was an overwhelming experience, I learnt a lot from them,” he said.

The song has a mixture of languages and is currently topping the charts on social media.
