THE Affirmative Action Group UK-Europe structure has thrown its weight behind Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 1 2021-2025.

The group said together with the Revised Indigenisation Policy, these were the right pillars to uplift the country.

In an interview after meeting Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Retired Colonel Christian Katsande at Zimbabwean House in London recently, AAG UK-Europe president Mr Martin Matandirotya said their meeting was a sign of great things to come.

“We need to promote linkages and engagement between the diaspora and Zimbabwe to support innovative initiatives and Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 1 2021-2025 plus the Revised Indigenisation Policy that uplifts the country,” he said.

Mr Matandirotya said the AAG Europe is an initiative that was set up in May for Zimbabweans in the diaspora to harness and discuss concerns regarding investing in the country.
