In London, Britain was yesterday advising its citizens against travelling to Libya and urged all those currently in the country to leave, although its embassy in Tripoli remains open.
“British nationals in Libya should leave now by commercial means.”
Germany yesterday also advised its citizens currently in Libya to immediately leave the strife-torn country.
“The situation is extremely unpredictable and uncertain,” the German foreign ministry said. “German nationals are at increased risk of kidnapping and attacks.” — AFP.
