ZRP Football Club coach Thulani Sibanda has rallied his troops to do well when they host title favourites Flame Lily at Morris in the last round of fixtures in the World Navi Northern Region Division One soccer league. The Northern Region championship race has been a closely contested one and it will be an exciting weekend as the winners will be decided on Saturday.

Pacesetters Flame Lily clash against ZRP FC and second-placed Gunners will be travelling to Bindura for a date with Bindura United at Chipadze.
Sibanda said they will be out to enjoy the game as the season comes to an end and will not be doing anyone any favours.

“For us it’s just a normal game, we are not under pressure. We are not fighting relegation and we are not playing for the championship, so it’s just a game that we will play to enjoy.

“We are not a friend of anyone so we can’t be pressured, it’s Gunners’ pressure not ours. We are not an extension of Gunners, we are just an outfit implementing what we do at training,” said Sibanda.

“We have achieved the top eight finish and the guys are happy. The championship should have been decided a long time ago and we do not hold the keys to that.”
