Like, Harry Potter and The Chronicle of Narnia movie, the hero and heroin in that movie is a teenager. Teenagers can be defined as a young person aged between 13 and 19 years old.

2016 saw local teenagers shining and raising the country flag high from academia to music Zimbabwe has a brighter future ahead. Meet our local heros and heroines.

Hillary Makaya (Model)
The 18 year old model represented Zimbabwe at the Miss Teen Heritage International held in Sri Lanka last month. She won the title and scooped over 10 medals during the boot camp. Keep doing it big and raising the Zim flag.

Tafara Dondo (Dreamstar 2016 Champion)
Beatboxing all the way to the finals, Tafara (18) walked away with $3 000! There are very few people who can make that much from a professional job; he made it by just using his mouth. Talent does pay.

Tamy (Musician)
At only 18, Tamy is being called for shows left, right and center. From Shoko Festival to Miss Tourism Zimbabwe. Tonight, she will perform at the Fill Up The HICC, sharing the stage with legend Dr Oliver Mtukudzi and man of the moment, Jah Prayzah. Again proving that talent indeed pays.

 Maud Chifamba (Young Academic)
She is the youngest Zimbabwean to ever enrol at the University of Zimbabwe. This year she became the youngest graduate in Africa. At 19 years, Maud has made history in Zimbabwe with her extra ordinary intelligence.

Mukundi Chifamba (Young Academic)
As if Maud was not enough to make the world jealous, her little brother enrolled at University of Zimbabwe at the age of 16. Studying Business Studies, Mukundi is doing the only thing someone who has a genius sister can do; follow their footsteps.
