THE Zimbabwe squad of 15 players for the International Cricket Council World Twenty20 tournament in Bangladesh got into camp yesterday. The players gathered at Harare Sports Club to resume preparations for the global in Bangladesh from the March 16 to April 6.The squad bowlers had a batting session with net bowlers at 9am and then the batsmen arrived 30 minutes later for 45 minutes of catching practice.

This was followed by a two-hour net session leading to lunch.
The afternoon session began at 2.30pm and ended with shuttles which began at 4.15pm.

The programme continues until Saturday, then there will be a break on Sunday before camp resumes on Monday until departure for Bangladesh next Wednesday.

Zimbabwe is in Group B of the World Twenty20 qualifiers, with Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.
The group winner will proceed to the Super 10 stage with the winner of the other group featuring Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Nepal.

The Group B winner will join England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Group 1.
The Group A winner will join Australia, India, Pakistan and the West Indies in Group 2.
