Peter Moyo staged a spectacular show at Joy Centre at Chitubu Shopping Centre in Glen Norah on Friday.
The Young Igwe, as the musician is popularly known, left lasting impressions with a good stage act that stole the hearts of many.
Fans danced and sang along to some of the musician’s popular songs including his father’s timeless classics.
Songs like “Ndazvimba Mapapu”, “Nemumvura Mese”, “Ganda Remvura” and “Muchina Muhombe” were popular with the crowd.

Moyo exhibited massive improvement in guitar-playing skills and vocal ability. The musician initially struggled with vocals when he took over leadership of the group but he has now fine-tuned his voice to match his father’s prowess.

The crowd enjoyed every moment of the show and cheered the musician throughout the performance. Moyo played the guitar for the better part of the night, proving he is now comfortable in his father’s shoes that appeared too big in the first days of his career.

Speaking to The Herald Entertainment after his performance the musician said he was happy about the response he has been getting from his fans over the last couple of months.

“People are showing that they now have confidence in us. We have been getting good responses at our shows and it inspires us to do better at every show,” said Moyo.

“We are committed to hard work and all band members are doing their best to serve our fans in their various capacities.”
Bass guitarist Spencer Kumulani who recently rejoined the group after a stint with Energy Mutodi exhibited why he is ranked among best guitar players in the country.

He played the bass guitar to the delight of many and complemented his boss and the rest of the band in putting up a memorable performance.
