You are useful, somebody in life

HOLY_BIBLE_04_002Bishop B. Manjoro Dunamis
In this great year of a double portion great things are already happening in people’s lives. If nothing has happened to you yet, be of good courage — you are next in line. Double portion is knocking at your door.

Today I will talk to you more on how inferiority can lock you in a world of your own — a world of gloom, discouragement and nothingness.

I challenge you as you read this article, let this be the last time you will ever be or feel inferior in your life ever again. You are somebody!

“Let us therefore, lest, a promise, being left us of entering his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not benefit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” Hebrews 4:1-2.

Looking at the Scripture above we see the key ingredient for accessing double portion and being somebody in life — mixing the word with faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Inferiority will choke your faith and cause you to live below God’s plan for your life.

You see when you are a Christian; the way to get strong in your faith is to talk about your faith. Share about the goodness of your God. Talk to people about Jesus and as you do so you get strong in the Lord and harness much confidence in the Lord.

Don’t be satisfied with who and where you are.

Don’t be satisfied with taking your Bible and coming to church alone with your children; leaving your neighbour and your friends without knowledge of the goodness of God.

If He has been good to you, talk about Him to others. God is a good God.

When Moses sent the 12 men to go and spy the land, 10 came with a negative report except for Caleb and Joshua.

Hear what the ten men had to say of the land, “. . . We saw giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight,” Numbers 13:33.

The men despite all the good things they saw in the land, the grapes and the fruits, they came with one negative report and testimony — the land was full of giants so much such that they saw themselves as grasshoppers.

You see, you are the way you see yourself. No one called them grasshoppers but they measured themselves and saw themselves as grasshoppers.

Friend, I say this with the Lord’s passion on my heart; you are not a grasshopper, you are not inferior! No, no, no!

Inferiority will kill you before you are dead. You are a creature of dominion. God gave you authority and dominion over situations. Refuse to worry or fear, boldly stand on the Word of God.

When you walk in a place full of people, for example, don’t feel terrible and walk with your head sideways in seeming humility – causing everyone to feel sorry for you.

No. Walk, talk, sit confidently knowing that Christ is your confidence and has made you a king and a priest in this world.

When you shake off fear and inferiority, you will begin to hear people, whisper to each other, Ishasha ipi iyi (who is this great person?).

Don’t be inferior! Even when you see a person of a high profession, don’t hesitate or feel inferior to witness to them about Christ.

Even people with bigger jobs have problems also!

Don’t see people in ties and suits and think all is well. Someone is longing if only someone can come and pray for me; if only someone can come and encourage me, preach to me and show me the way of salvation.

Phillip the evangelist was bold and preached to the great nobleman, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians who was in his chariot reading his Bible but understanding nothing until Phillip came.

You are weak because your faith is inactive. Exercise your faith. Even on anointing, the church is full of unused anointing.

When the equipment of God came on you, it came for a reason. The Holy Spirit came on you so that, you be a witness unto the world — your world! You are equipped to help other people but because you look down on yourself what is in you is helping no one.

You carry an answer for many lives, you need to act. You need to step out. You need to shake yourself and say, “Enough is enough, I refuse to be inferior.”

I am who God says I am, I can do what He says I can do. O hallelujah!

A year of a double portion is a year to touch lives.

It’s a year to preach, and witness to the world. I give you a challenge today don’t just go another service at church alone. Take others with you to church.

Preach to someone, and if you don’t have much to say, like Andrew in the Bible just say to your friends, neighbors, relatives, schoolmates, workmates — “Come and See” I pray that God use you mightily in this good year.

Refuse to be inferior, you are not a grasshopper. You are somebody! With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27.
