FORMER Dynamos gaffer George “Yogi” Mandigora has taken over the hot seat left by Kelvin Kaindu at Triangle and will lead the Lowveld side this season.

Mandigora is believed to have signed a two-year contract, for an undisclosed fee, and watched from the sidelines as Triangle played their first pre-season friendly against Masvingo City in Triangle yesterday. Triangle finished fourth last season before the Zambian coach resigned to join How Mine. Mandigora will lead the technical team with Biggie Zuze and Tembo Chuma keeping their positions as assistant coach and goalkeeper’s coach. Triangle chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze rubbished reports that Chuma was also joining How Mine.

“Chokri (Chuma) was away attending his personal problems but he is now back and will continue his duties together with Biggie (Zuze),” said Matikinyidze.

“Yes, Mandigora is here, he came for interviews and you are going to see more coaches coming for interviews as we are looking to boost our bench.”

Mandigora refused to comment on his future and referred all questions to the executive.

“I am not in a position to comment on anything as of now. The best person you can talk to is the chairman of the club. I am here to watch football,” he said.
