Zanu-PF deputy secretary for Women’s Affairs Cde Eunice Sandi Moyo yesterday congratulated First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe on her 51st birthday. Amai Mugabe turned 51 last Saturday. In a statement, Cde Sandi Moyo described Amai Mugabe as a dedicated mother of the nation. “The Zanu-PF Deputy Secretary for Women’s Affairs, Honourable E.N Sandi Moyo, the entire Women’s League of Zimbabwe and staff wish to congratulate Her Excellency, the First Lady and National Secretary for Women’s Affairs, Amai Dr G. Mugabe on her 51st birthday.

“We applaud you Amai, the Mother of the Nation, for your philanthropic works and devotion in taking care of the needy in our society.

“Your love for the vulnerable and children as epitomised through the Mazowe Children’s Home and Grace Mugabe Schools project, as well as your astute leadership of the Women’s league are a source of inspiration to us,” she said.

Cde Sandi Moyo also described the First Lady as an outstanding entrepreneur. “The Zanu-PF Women’s League is proud to be led by you Amai, a woman of vision and immense business acumen that have found expression in the Gushungo Dairy and Alpha and Omega business enterprises.

“Your Excellency, your 51st birthday, marks yet another milestone of a life worth emulating. You scooped the envious and prestigious 2015 Outstanding Value Addition and Investment Award, Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce Award. Congratulations!”

Cde Sandi Moyo added: “As we celebrate your 51st birthday, may the Almighty God grant you good health and many more happy years.”
