The Zanu-PF Women’s League yesterday elected a new executive that will lead the wing for the next five years, with the selection being done by consensus without any hitches, unlike the Youth League conference that was marred by allegations of vote buying and manipulation last week.
The new executive was announced by the revolutionary party’s national chairperson Cde Simon Khaya-Moyo and each member had the opportunity of shaking hands with President Mugabe.

Cde Khaya-Moyo said there were many forms of selecting leadership and these included acclamation, secret ballot and/or consensus.
