LONDON. — Arsene Wenger has “formally denied” reports claiming that he has been offered a contract by French giants Paris Saint-Germain. Yesterday, The Sun claimed that the French champions had offered the Arsenal boss a two-year deal to replace Unai Emery at the end of the season. Wenger is yet to publicly reveal the decision over his future, but the 67-year-old is adamant that PSG have not been in contact with a bid.“It is not true,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

“That it was what you call fake news. I formally deny it.”

Reports have also suggested that Wenger has already put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Arsenal, and the club are just waiting to announce the deal. Following the 3-1 defeat to West Brom on Sunday which has subsequently dropped Arsenal to sixth in the Premier League, Wenger revealed that he had made up his mind about his future.“Don’t worry, I know what I will do in my future,” he said.

“You will soon know. Very soon. You will see.”

Emirates chiefs are adamant that the Frenchman is master of his own fate — even though there is a growing feeling that change is needed at the club.

The 67-year-old feels he still has at least three years left in management.

Arsenal on Monday rejected claims they have made an approach for Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel. — Metro
