VP Mnangagwa honoured in song Vice President Mnangagwa

Dancehall musician Prosper “Proda” Dembedza who fronts the Final Warning crew has released a single to congratulate the recently appointed Vice President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa. Titled “Congratulations VaMnangagwa”, the single welcomes and congratulates the Vice President for his new office. In an interview, Dembedza said he was happy with the step taken by President Mugabe to elevate Cde Mnangagwa who has dedicated his life to the party (Zanu-PF) and the country at large.

“Cde Mnangagwa has always been there for the party and the country, he played a pivotal role in the liberation struggle and as youths we are grateful with the President’s stance,

“We are confiendent this move will go a long way in the implementation of the economic blue print (Zim-Asset). Let me take this opportunity to congratulate both Vice Presidents for their new positions.

“Chakanaka chakanaka vaMnangagwa vave Vice President VaMugabe vakavimba hamumbotengesa . . . Kwamabva kure nayo nyika tozviyeuka . . . Dzidzisai gwara vamwe varasika, neushingi hwenyu kumberi tinosvika,” goes part of the song.

He said they are also working on the video which is set to hit the screen soon.

“We have just released the audio version but we are currently working on the video for the song and we are looking forward to release it as soon as possible,” he said.

Dembedza is currently riding high with his song “Tokudai Amai Mugabe”, a single which congratulates the First Lady for being appointed Zanu-PF Secretary for Women’s Affairs and has been given fair airplay on ZTV.
