JUNIOR Golfers Stuart Krog and Kieran Vincent are set to leave for the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship in the United States this week. The event will be held at the prestigious par 71 Biltimore Golf Course at Coral Gables, Florida, United States from December 27-30. The duo will be the country’s representatives in the 51st anniversary celebrations of the tournament.

The championship is an International invitational for boys and girls amateur golfers.

The top amateur golfers from around the world are invited to compete in one of the most competitive amateur tournaments in the world.

The International Golf Championship boasts an impressive alumni list including current professional players Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, and Lexi Thompson.

Krog, who did well at the same event when he finished tied on position 13 will be looking forward to improve from his last outing.

Krog went for the event together with Travis Smith last year but will be joined by Vincent, who has improved his game immensely during the past season.

Zimbabwe once won the event through Lewis Chitengwa, who played alongside players like Tiger Woods in 1992.

The other player who had the potential to lift the title was Kieran’s elder brother Scott who managed to finish in the top 10.
