United Family International Church ’s official anointed channel, Christ TV, turned one on September 20. Last year this day marked yet another milestone for UFIC as it transmitted its first programme to Zimbabwe and parts of the world.
The channel broadcasts 24/ 7, 365 days a year and reaches out to UFIC’s huge membership and the general Christian populace nationally and internationally.

It has been a glorious year, a year of extraordinary evangelism. The barrier of distance that has seen many flying from as far off as Canada has indeed been eliminated.

Christ TV is used by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa to bring people closer to God through great revelations and utterances he makes. The impact of God’s Word through teachings by Prophet Makandiwa has drawn hundreds of thousands of people and followers globally, celebrities and even politicians.
Christ TV has wrought souls; a great harvest to God. Just by listening to his amazing teachings, you will know that his is a calling from God, not just for the nation of Zimbabwe but for global ministry.

There is a wide range of interesting and informative programmes to choose from.

There is the “Minister’s Material”, “Discipleship Class” and “Hour of Grace” where sermons are churned out.

“The Minister’s Material” and “Discipleship Class” are widely held by pastors from all over.

From the feedback, viewers say Prophet Makandiwa, through his sermons, makes the Word come alive and so easy to understand.

Moreover the Man of God encourages us to stick to the Word as is written in Matthew 4:4 “. . . Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

The programme “Amazing Love” shares with viewers the charity works by Prophets Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa through Agape Family Care, a charity department of UFIC.

Among the major charity projects carried out, AFC has stretched its hand to Chitungwiza Hospital, Chikurubi Female Maximum Prisons, Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home in Murewa, Harare Children’s Home and street people.

The charity arm has also donated foodstuffs to Hope Fountain, a drought-prone resettlement area in Matabeleland South Province, Muzarabani in Mashonaland Central Province, as well as Mukunza Village and Katerere in Nyanga.

Lined up too is “Legal Talk” an informative programme which seeks to demystify Zimbabwean law especially to an ordinary person.

One can also enjoy “Zim Top 10”, a musical programme where one is guaranteed to listen to some Zimbabwean praise and worship songs.

“Life Lighter”, “Prophetic Moments” and “The Digest” are some of the programmes to look forward to.

“Christ TV Kids Club”, is trendy with the kids for its biblical cartoons, as well as “Weekend Movies” which are suitable to watch as a family.

“My Testimony” demonstrates a few of the miracles being brought through watching Christ TV as viewers testify about the supernatural interventions of the God of Prophet Makandiwa that has made Christ TV to be notable and celebrated.

Much deliverance has been experienced in people’s homes through watching Christ TV.

Christ TV has become an addiction to so many who even go to sleep and leave it playing.

Within 12 months we have proved to be a force to reckon with as Pastor P Kufa alluded to during Christ TV PERMICAN Award, “Besides quality of messages from Prophet Makandiwa, the quality of programmes and the picture quality is second to none.”

In his remarks, Prophet Makandiwa went on to appreciate God for His awesomeness for taking him thus far, Jehovah Ebenezzar he said, “It’s something we never thought would happen, it was just a vision. It’s a dream beyond our imagination even our ability.

“We would want Christ TV to be more than a broadcast but to become a home.

“The impact is much more than we can see. We have been able to broadcast in almost all parts of the world, and we believe God for more territories.

“This is just the beginning we’re going far, moving from glory to glory. Please continue praying for us.”

Prophet Makandiwa said the driving force behind Christ TV launch was to see many souls coming back to Jesus and to equip saints for the ministry.

Remarkably Prophet Makandiwa thanked those that made it possible for the channel to start.

“Being on a free-to-air channel doesn’t mean it’s for free, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those that have partnered financially with Christ TV, individuals, and even families.

The best investment you can ever do is invest in soul winning. God bless you for that.”

Although Christ TV has gone through challenges and difficulties, we can’t dwell on that because God has given us victory.

There is much garbage coming out of other channels but with Christ TV you won’t go wrong because you are connected with the best.
