Urban grooves singer Trevor Dongo will this weekend share stage with rising Afro jazz musician Prince Musarurwa at a family show at Junction 24 on Sunday.
This is the first time that the two musicians will be sharing the stage.

Trevor D, as Dongo is popularly known, is well known for his silky voice and a creative selection of romantic explorations that navigate through the themes of love found and love lost.

He has a record of having once mesmerized Prophetess Beverly Angels wife to flamboyant prophet Uebet Angel on her birthday celebrations when he sang his hit ‘‘Ndashamisika’’ this year.

On the other hand Musarurwa is well known for the romantic flare he sends whenever he performs or feature on other artists’ projects.

He hogged the limelight when he featured on Pah Chihera’s hit “Runonzi Rudo”, which became a love anthem last year and has added his romantic flare on Diana Samkange’s “Tikure Murudo”.

He also had collaboration with Ugandan diva Daisy Ejang on yet another love song I must stick with you which is on his forth coming album.

Musarurwa is currently riding on the success of his latest offering “Gogodera”.

In what is promising to be an explosive show the two artists have promised nothing but the best of them.

“This is my first time to be sharing stage with Trevor and I just feel honoured. What I can say is that I am ready to showcase myself as a rising musician. I have been rehearsing for this show and my band (the Afro Royal band) is just ready to rock. People must just expect the best of Prince,” said the ecstatic Musarurwa.

Trevor D said it would be a memorable day as he takes families and lovers on cool music journey.

“It will be an afternoon of joy. I will take families and lovers on a memorable music journey,” he said.
