Reggae granddads Transit Crew will tonight return to Junction 24 where they performed early this month with another show that is expected to leave lasting impressions.

The group staged a good show at the venue and tonight’s return is a result of requests from patrons that were excited by their debut mission at Junction 24.

The group has been boosted by the return of prodigal son Emmanuel “Mannex” Motsi who recently rejoined the group.

The singer, who parted ways with the band to pursue a solo career, has been performing with Transit Crew for almost a month.

When the group performed at the place early this month, patrons had a good time with timeless classics from the reggae giants.

For the past month, the focus has been on the return of Mannex who was outstanding at the previous show.

In a recent interview Mannex said Transit Crew has always been his ‘home’ and he was happy to be back.

“It is good that I am back. I have been with my groups MoFamilee for some years but things have not been well.

“I was experiencing problems with my band where the majority lacked focus and maturity.

“I decided to rejoin Transit which is my home and it is really good to be back with the elders.”

He, however, described his solo journey as a learning experience.

“It was very interesting and it is part of growing up. They welcomed me with warm hands and I am really grateful for that,” he added.

One of the band members Cello Culture said he was happy to have a brother like Mannex rejoining the group.

“I am happy to see Mannex back, he boasts of years of experience and to have him back in the band is really a big boost for the band.”

During his solo career Mannex released three albums titled “Rwendo”, “Mo Love” and “Optimist by choice” featuring Czech Republic band Setam.

His latest album was released in the Czech Republic last year and has been quite until of late when he rejoined Transit Crew..
