Showbiz action continue despite the cold weather with several musicians lining up shows in different parts of the country.
Jah Prayzah and Andy Muridzo meet for a show at Magamba Shopping Centre along Chivhu- Buhera Highway tonight. The organisers of the show have offered to transport music lovers from Chivhu to the venue.
This is one of the explosive shows lined for the two musicians who have not been on the limelight of late. The two are expected to perform many of their songs they did together.
Gift Petro who is Muridzo’s manager said they were ready for the show. “We are taking our works forward and the show will be a chance for Muridzo to show that he is growing musically,” he said.
In Harare, Chibuku Road to Fame Harare provincial finals will be held in Ruwa at Manake bar where various groups will contest for a ticket to the national final. Alick Macheso will be performing at the event at Manake Bar before he goes to Raffingora for another show.
He said they are doing the best to give fans value for their money. In a recent interview, the musician said it was good for musicians to respect their fans.
“They are forking out their hard-earned cash and we need to respect them. In winter some artistes and venue owners cut down on performances, but we are keeping our normal schedule.
“It is our time to warm up the nights for merrymakers,” he said. Organisers of Chibuku Road to Fame said the provincial finals will continue in other provinces in the following weeks as they prepare for the finals to be held in the capital in September.
In another Harare event, Suluman Chimbetu will be at Dandaro Inn tonight as he keeps his fans in the capital entertained with his dendera vibes.
Tomorrow he travels to Bindura to perform at Club CD in Chiwaridzo.
