Zim dancehall sensation Tocky Vibes and Kinnah are expected to lock horns this Saturday at Zimunhu Bar in Epworth. The potentially explosive gig will see the chanters performing back-to-back in the heart of the sprawling suburb in Overspill. Man-of-the moment Tocky is tearing up the airwaves with his socially conscious songs that have endeared him to both the young and the old.

Everywhere he goes, Tocky leaves fond memories, with fans begging for more.
Some of his songs talk about everyday life of ordinary Zimbabweans and the struggles they go through.

For instance, in “Mhai” Tocky makes a covenant with his mother that they will be there for each other through thick and thin.
He sings: “Tocky kana zvichinge zvanaka usandikanganwe”
While on “Tocky Waenda Nenyika” he gives thanks to his multitudes of fans for the great support.
Other songs that have made him a household name include “Ndivhurei Maziso”, “Hama”, “Nidini Ndirikurira”, “Simudza Maoko” and “Vakafa Havana Chavakaona”.

Those who witnessed his outstanding performance at the Kalado show held at the Old Hararians Sports Club recently will attest that Tocky raised the bar high for himself and the others.
Definitely Tocky is enjoying a purple patch in his career. He is conquering and he is not taking any prisoners.

Though controversial when it comes to his attire, Tocky has defended his style saying he wants to be a servant of his fans who are his kings.
Not to be outdone is Kinnah who is not new to the Zim dancehall scene.
In fact Kinna is one of the underrated chanters.

Kinna has wowed at a number of shows in and around Harare where he has held gigs as a solo performer.
Like Tocky, Kinna is also a conscious lyricist and is coming up in a big way.

Most of his songs relate to the ordinary people. Now using a live band, the gifted performer always dazzles the crowd with his amazing delivery on stage.
The two outstanding chanters are set to lock horns where fireworks are expected.
It will not be a walk in the park for Tocky because Kinna has promised to put up a good show.

Guest artistes on the bill are Jonex and Money Kind, who are known as the pride of Epworth while Djs Mint Fresh and Eman will also be on the turntables during intervals.
Show organiser Luckson Zimunhu said he was excited about the gig and that fans were in for a double treat.

“Tocky is one of the hottest artistes at the moment while Kinnah is also proving to be a star. So we are expecting fireworks. This is a show not to be missed by those who love dancehall music. The two will have to prove their mettle come Saturday,” he said.
