Compliments and happy blessed New Year. I’m glad you made it by the grace of the Lord. The year 2018 is a wonderful year, the year of acceleration, a year where things are going to be happening so fast; such that you will not even understand it, Amos 9:13. I will tell you more on this theme in the coming weeks. Today I will talk to you on checking your soul.

If you keep moving from one year to the other yet your soul is bleeding, hurting or damaged it means you will keep rotating in same issues, but no progress, no development. Read on and discover the priceless wisdom and instruction of God’s Word.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” 3 John 2. It is God’s best wish that all of his children live prosperously and in good health.

However, take note it doesn’t end there, it says I wish above all that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. This means that your physical and health prosperity is linked to the prosperity of your soul. You can’t prosper in life when your soul is hurting and sick.

2018 is a very good and wonderful year, but you need to look at your soul. Sins burden a man’s life. Sins are heavy. That’s why before healing the paralytic Jesus said “Son thy sins are forgiven.”

He could have gone physically well but his soul was broken. That’s why Jesus said “come to me all ye that are weary and heavy laden.”

As you are beginning this year 2018, offload all hidden things in your life that weigh you down and draw you back. Offload all rubbish. Offload all things that hinder progress and make you the person you don’t want to be. Offload the things that say no when you say yes.

We have only a few days into 2018 and I encourage you to make a decision to walk in 2018 free. It’s a year of acceleration so we don’t need unnecessary weight and unnecessary baggage.

I know that 2018 will be a different year. Some may ask which weight I am talking about. Listen to me, for example if you were lying much in past years 2017 and beyond make a decision to walk in truth. Lord last year I lied much, forgive me Lord.

I stole much with my computer, even though auditors didn’t pick it but the eye of the Lord is not limited. Forgive me Lord. Yes, you have crossed over into the New Year but you need a pure heart. Brethren I wish above all that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.

Soul and spirit are different. You are a spirit that lives in a body and has life in the soul. The body is the one that needs a good house, but the spirit doesn’t mind material things. But the body needs it. However, the soul is the cause of prosperity. You only prosper God’s way as your soul prospereth.

O hallelujah!

Check your soul. It’s linked to your prosperity. Deal with it. Make it right. The soul is you. If your soul is bitter or jealous you can’t prosper.

If your soul is sick you will not prosper. This year in 2018 my soul must prosper. Get me right, I’m not saying all who are not prospering have sick souls. What I’m saying is check your soul. Whatever you desire for other people to have, you will have. All you want others, your friends and neighbours to have, you will have it.

If your friend buys a house, do you say amen in your heart or it hurts you?

Friend in 2018 I encourage you check your soul. Are you prospering inside? You need to check and work on your soul. Just like a builder uses a spirit level to measure how straight his building is, in 2018 your spirit level is your soul.

Your soul must prosper. There are so many people in church who desire to rise up, but their souls are not prospering. Today I want you to pray concerning your heart. God see my heart. Don’t continue to carry trailers in 2018. Don’t carry girlfriends, small houses in this wonderful year. Don’t carry beating your wife in 2018. Eight is a number of new beginning.

There are some diseases that are caused by your soul. Yes, some things follow the bloodline but some follow the soul. Some of you this beginning of year are bitter. You are saying all year pastors preached to us, but 2017 ended the same? I have one word for you before you blame anyone. Check your soul.
