Contemporary musician Mukudzei Mukombe aka Jah Prayzah is set to celebrate the success of the Australia show with shows at New Life Night Club in Budiriro tonight and Junction 24 along Harare-Chitungwiza highway on Sunday.

Jah Prayzah who returned home this week had a four-show tour that took him to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

That was his first time to perform there and according to reports from Australia, all the shows were well attended.

His manageress Filda Muchabaiwa said they have leant a lot from the tour.

“The tour was a great experience for him and the whole team as they have learnt a lot,” said Muchabaiwa.

She said the “Moyo Wakaoma” singer, popularly known as ‘‘Soja Rinosvika Kure’’, met a number of people who are into arts industry in that country and learnt a lot from them.

Muchabaiwa said at this weekend’s shows the musician will sample new songs from his coming album that will be released in April.

“This tour inspired him and he managed to pen some songs that will be played this weekend,” she said.

The musician is among the top performers in the country and has managed to do a number of collaborations with different artistes locally.

New Life show organiser Fidelis Ngove said he was happy to be hosting the musician who was coming from such an important show.

“When an artiste goes for an international tour he is uplifting not only his name but the country’s flag so in that regard we have to celebrate with him,” he said.

He said they have prepared the venue well for the show.

“Patrons are the most important people not only for the artist but for us as venue owners so we have prepared well for the show,” he said.

Tavepi Madzingira of Junction 24 said they have planned Sunday’s family show to bring fans of different ages together to welcome Jah Prayzah from his foreign mission.

“We are happy to host Jah Prayzah after the Australian tour.

We hear the tour was successful and we want to congratulate the musician for a good job. He has performed here before.

He appeals to various ages and we know this family show will be a great event for the musician and his fans,” said Madzingira.
