It’s the weekend! Let’s get high on life as we embrace yet another well-deserved break.

This week we had two days of pouring rains which is all good but can be a real big bore when it comes just at the wrong time.

Let’s face it, heavy rains have their way of cramping your style as you have to cover up like a bag lady.

When it’s wet the odds are you mess up your shoes, hair, gadgets and most importantly your school books.

But how about stepping out in style in funky “rain wear” like rubber boots, funky coats and umbrellas?”

These items will let you enjoy the weather as your usual funky self as you go through your school days.

Speaking of fashion and style, yours truly stole this saying on Facebook: Only dead fish go with the current.

Teenagers across the world have been known to be “rebellious” in terms of style.

So girls, why not take it a gear up by raiding the boys’ wardrobe?

We have a feeling local rapper Trae Yung does this all the time but Nicky Minaj tried it too with gangster Timberland boots and we loved it.

Miss bad Barbey posted hers on Instagram the other time and just to give them sass, she personalised them with pink graffiti

I don’t know how the guys manage it but be warned, they are heavy.

Get it from yours truly, boy boots are the way to go when it is wet or cold.

Don’t limit this to Timberlands, rock the Nikies, Converse and Air Jordans too!

For the boys, be a hottie alerter by wearing the Harlem pants with the bucket hat. Yes we have been writing about that for long but they’re still trendy. We hear that Apple has reduced the price of iphone 6 worldwide which means you don’t have to be left out so go grab yours.

The 2996 Piece LEGO Avengers Shield Helicarrier tops is our gadget of the week.

If you’re going to get just one LEGO set this year, you’re going to want to make it count.

And, man, we doubt you can go wrong with this LEGO SHIELD Helicarrier as your sole purchase for the year.

It’s, literally, the kind of toy a dad will buy his kid, but, really, is buying it for himself too.

While not quite as big as the original concept submitted to LEGO Ideas a few months back, the set is just as epic, albeit in a less-ostentatious manner.

Till next week, keep the swag reloaded.
