TB Joshua Ministries has rubbished as false rumours and articles spreading on the Internet that Prophet TB Joshua had made a prophesy concerning the Zimbabwean election. One website quoted TB Joshua as stating that the MDC-T would win the elections and there would be bloodshed in Zimbabwe and calling on believers to pray for the country.

“TB Joshua’s prophesied saying: l see war in Zimbabwe after the elections. So people of Zimbabwe be careful, l see blood all over. Pray for Zimbabwe,” read the quote.

However, in a statement yesterday TB Joshua Ministries denied that the prophet had made any prophecy regarding the country’s presidential election.

“Attention. This is an official message from The SCOAN (Synagogue Church Of All Nations).
“There are false rumours and articles spreading on the internet that Prophet TB Joshua prophesied concerning the Zimbabwean election. This is false. Prophet TB Joshua did not prophesy anything regarding the presidential election in Zimbabwe.

“If there is any message concerning the nation of Zimbabwe, it will be officially broadcast on Emmanuel TV and on our official websites, www.scoan.org Beware of false rumours. Don’t listen to the father of lies, the sons of lies and the daughters of lies.

“Please, do not sit somewhere, hear this or that and come to a hasty conclusion.
“God requires that we find out the truth from Him first and hold fast to that which is true, as the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21,” read the statement.

The false prophecy claims, that circulated on pro-MDC-T websites, analysts said, were designed to counter several recent surveys pointing to a crushing victory for Zanu-PF in today’s harmonised elections.
