Prince Edward School art students exhibiting at this year’s annual art showcase on paintings and drawings said the on-going exhibition has given them the opportunity to explore more artistic mediums as well as coming up with images that have an impact on the development of contemporary art.

The art students showcasing their works at this year’s visual arts exhibition at Prince Edward have hailed the annual exhibition as a way that will encourage others to take the art of drawing and painting seriously coming up with artworks that tell a story through mixed media and in figurative forms.

More than 60 talented students are taking part in the exhibition that will run for a month. The students who are from Form One to Six have come up with other forms of art such as drawing using pencils, while some are using acyclic and oil on canvas, string drawing and acrylic on board. – CL Writer.
