Soul Jah Love pays tribute to First Lady Soul Jah Love

Dancehall sensation Soul Jah Love has paid tribute to First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe for her work through a song that was released last week.

In the song, the musician urged the nation to rally behind Dr Mugabe, who stood firm to fight corruption.

He also thanked her for the work she is doing at her orphanage in Mazoe.

The musician urged the youth to work hard to emulate Dr Mugabe, who has worked hard in improving the lives of many orphans in Zimbabwe.

The “Ndini Uya Uya” hit-maker blasted those who were fuelling factionalism.

“Vavengi hatingavape mukana, kuda kuronga kunge munoranga munotonga imi apa futi muchitenga, manga muchiponda nyika mabatika saka mhamha pindirai, tichatowedzera chi comrade nekuti tiri shumba vanozviziva kuno vari grounded hatidi kuvaona havatonge kuno mhamha muchatofunga dzakadzama kusvika taona machena nekuti hatinga tengwe ne pie . . . kutengwa ne zed apa murungu anokusiya uri dead,” goes part of the song.

In the song the musician mentioned that Zanu-PF Harare Provincial youth Chairman Cde Godwin Gomwe has been making efforts to unite the youth.

“Tasimbisana nekuti takabatanidzwa naVaGomwe hanzi itai mushandira pamwe, hatidi kuti mhamha vatsamwe imba yavo varamwe. Vavengi hatingavape mukana mhandu . . .” Soul Jah Love sings. The song is likely to gain popularity as it has encouraging messages for the youth.

Soul Jah Love is one of the celebrated dancehall artistes in the country who has managed to release a number of hit songs. He has a number of awards to his name.

He has joined several artistes such as Final Warning, Energy Mutodi, Suluman Chimbetu and sculptors who have appreciated Dr Mugabe’s work.
