Popular Motswana musician-cum-dancer Naledi Kaisara, better known as Slizer, is set to tour Zimbabwe for a month starting mid August when she is expected to launch her latest album and DVD.
Her manager Gift Petro confirmed her tour and said preparations for the country wide tour are underway.

“Slizer will be touring the country next month as part of marketing and launch of her latest album ‘Bozoka’ and DVD.

“We have started making preparations and some of the places she will perform in Zvishavane, Masvingo, Harare, Kwekwe and Mutare,” he said.

Petro said they are going to engage some other local artistes especially the upcoming acts during the four-week tour.

He said after the tour Slizer will donate some goods to a children’s home of her choice.

“After Slizer completes her shows, she will hand over some goods to a children’s home of her choice as part of giving back to the society.

“She decided to do this because she appreciates the support she has been receiving from our local fans,” he said.

Slizer recently gave a well polished act in Masvingo at a charity show that featured Suluman Chimbetu.

She threatened to expose local musician Peter Moyo if he persisted to peddle lies about their alleged relationship and insisted that she was a professional person.

Slizer started her music career over a decade ago as a backing vocalist for various renowned Batswana groups, including Franco and Alfredo Mos.

She rose to fame with her debut album “O Tswa Kae” in 2008 and has also collaborated on a love song with the afro jazz singer Prince Musarurwa.
