A Harare woman has approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her young sister whom she accuses of engaging in a sexual relationship with her husband.
Alice Milanzi last Friday claimed Chengetai was influencing her husband to ditch her by telling him that she was too old to satisfy him in bed.

“I took her in to stay with me and my husband, three years ago but now she is dating my husband and the two have the guts to have sexual intercourse in my presence,” she said.

Milanzi told Harare Civil Court magistrate Mr Tafadzwa Muvhami, that Chengetai was no longer respecting her as her elder sister. “I am no longer enjoying peace at my matrimonial house because she insults me in front of my husband with vulgar words,” said Milanzi.
She pleaded with Mr Muvhami to evict Chengetai from her matrimonial home, saying her marriage was now on the rocks.

“I want her to move out of my house as soon as possible. If she still wants to continue sleeping with my husband, she can go ahead and do it away from my house,” she said.

In response, Chengetai said she was not opposed to Milanzi’s application.

“I cannot dispute what she said because it is true. You can go ahead and grant the protection order as she pleases,” she said.

Mr Muvhami granted the protection order by consent, which barred Chengetai from verbally or physically abusing Milanzi.
