“We are praying for this show and we are promising the best by the grace of God.”Gospel musicians Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro of the “Ebenezer” fame and Blessing Shumba will have a joint launch of their recently released albums in South Africa next month.The albums are Rev Chivaviro’s “Mhepo Inoperekedza — Ebenezer 2” and Blessing Shumba’s “Calvary.” Both albums were first launched in the country.In an interview, Blessing Shumba hailed the South African-based gospel musician Rev Chivaviro for coming up with the initiative and for helping to put everything in order.

“We have always been brothers in Christ with Rev Chivaviro, we help each other in the industry and he is the one who came up with this initiative for us to launch our albums in South Africa,” he said.

“He is the one who helped to put up everything and organised the two shows and I am just grateful for this opportunity which I am going to use wisely to market my new album.”

The “Psalmist”, as Shumba is popularly known in the music industry, also promised a memorable show.

“We are praying for this show and we are promising the best by the grace of God,” he said.

Rev Chivaviro who has since taken his new album “Mhepo Inoperekedza” around South Africa after the success of the Zimbabwean launch, which led business tycoon Philip Chiyangwa award him a church stand said they are looking forward to a great show in South Africa.

“For the first time, I am going to combine forces with Blessing Shumba who will also take the opportunity to launch his new album ‘Calvary’ in South Africa for the first time and this is going to be one of our best shows, he said.

The two are going to perform in Pretoria and Germiston on April 9 and 10 respectively.
