Gifted chanter Gift “Shiga Shiga” Katulika has rejoined Peter Moyo and his Utakataka Express. Shiga left the group in 2012 together with other band members, Spencer Khumulani and Gaison Sixpence, to join Mutodi Stars. Khumulani and Sixpence have since retraced their footsteps to Utakataka Express and Shiga Shiga will join them today. “We have managed to reach an agreement with the chanter and he will be coming back to the group,” said Moyo.
The Young Igwe – as the musician is fondly known – said he had no problem with engaging all the band members who once deserted him.

“We are a family and there is no need for us to hate each other,” he said.
Katulika said he will start his first performance with the group tonight.

“It’s true we have reached an agreement and I will be with the group when we perform in Chinhoyi on Friday (tonight),” he said.
Young Igwe shares the stage with Tryson Chimbetu at Kwamama Bar in Chinhoyi.

The show will be the first Tongai Moyo commemoration gig to be held in Mashonaland West before they move to Karoi and Mhangura.
Meanwhile, the Pastor Charles Charamba will also stage a gig at Chinhoyi Stadium tomorrow.

This is one of the ongoing shows to promote his latest offering “WeNazareta”.
The musician said he was looking forward to a great show .
“People have been responding well to our album and we are optimistic that people will come to share with us what we have,” he said.
