Seh Calaz’s manager Godfrey ‘‘Vokal’’ Bakasa and Riflex MaUsa’s manager Stany Joni are at logger heads over the talented Zimdancehall chanter. Joni is Seh Calaz’s former manager who was allegedly sacked by Mabhanditi clan on allegations of mismanagement of fans and he now manages upcoming dance hall musician Riflex MaUsa.

Bakasa disclosed that he has been receiving threats from Joni promising to deal with him for failing to handle their differences musically.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Joni claimed that he does not bear any grudge towards Seh Calaz and Bakasa and refuted the claims that he has been threatening Bakasa. His words showed that he is a man who feels that he has not received due recognition for his role in building up Seh Calaz’s brand:

“You know what, I am the one who founded Calaz, I groomed him to become that musician who is well known and Bakasa organised a coup to dethrone me and took away Calaz from me. I am also the man behind the Mabhanditi name.”

But Joni said in spite of those alleged facts on the ground he is not a bitter man.

“I want to put the record clear that despite having founded Calaz and having been booted from the clan that I formed, I don’t have any bad blood with Calaz and Bakasa, Vapfanha vangu vandaka builder from scratch,” he said.

Commenting on the alleged threats, Joni said he only responded to Bakasa’s threats when the latter showed his anger at Joni dissing him through his artist.

“I was not threatening him but I was only responding to his messages, my artist attacked Seh Calaz and Bakasa lyrically and he sent me messages threatening me and my family and that is when I responded,” he said.

Joni accused Calaz and Bakasa of not being well educated saying that is the reason why they lack professionalism.

“You see vapfana ava havana chikoro, ndosaka vachimhanya kuPress (these boys are not educated, that is why they just run to the media), I am a journalist also and I know how these things are run,” he said.

Bakasa also claimed not to have any personal animosity towards Joni whom he is accusing of being bitter after having been sacked from handling Seh Calaz’s affairs.

“You see this guy once managed Calaz for a few months then he was sacked after we realised that he was stealing from us, now he is managing another guy MaUsa who mainly focuses on dissing Calaz in most of his songs,

“He is claiming that I have failed to keep our relationship musical and for that reason he is going to deal with me, he even swore that he will deal with me and everything that I have but I am not moved since I am spending most of my time at home these days,” he said.
