The Rainbow Tourism Group will next month host a trade exhibition for the country’s rapidly developing automotive sector at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

The exhibition show will be running from October 5 to 7. Dubbed the Harare International Conference Centre Auto Parts Show 2017, the exhibition is the country’s first and largest gathering of leading auto parts suppliers and auto service providers from across the country.

“The HICC Auto Parts Show 2017 is the pioneering trade exhibition for the rapidly developing automotive and Auto Parts aftermarket in Zimbabwe.

“The show will be the country’s first gathering of leading auto parts suppliers and auto service providers from all over the country,” said HICC sales and business development manager Tichawona Shumba.

“It will also cover a full range of motor vehicles parts as well as components for the drive, chassis, body, electrics and electronic groups, as well as equipment for vehicle service and repair, bodywork repair and painting, tyres and batteries,” he said.

While introducing the automotive market’s most recent technology, services and solutions, Mr Shumba said the exhibition will provide excellent opportunities for leading brands, automotive accessories and spare parts companies and after sales service providers to expand their sales network and strengthen their presence in the region’s fastest growing garage gear market.

He said Zimbabwe is becoming a huge market for auto parts, especially in the case of imported cars and other automotive equipment.

The HICC Auto Parts Show seeks to provide the dealers and distributors with a platform to showcase their capability and potential of the Zimbabwe Market.

“You can expect Government officials, local and regional distributors and manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, raw material providers, service providers and many more other people at the event,” said Mr Shumba.

The HICC Auto Parts Show 2017 is expected to draw a crowd of more than 10 000 visitors from parts manufacturers, component suppliers, auto lovers and affluent auto mobile buyers who will be jostling to get a glimpse of the latest models from the Zimbabwe’s leading auto dealers in the motorcycle, three wheeler, car, tractor, trucks and buses segments.

The Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre which both falls under the Rainbow Tourism Group is an international convention centre and has 19 conference rooms that range from small to medium sized and large conference rooms and a gigantic auditorium seating 4 500, has over the years become a venue of choice in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
