LONDON. — Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants a stunning £500 000-a-week to sign for Manchester United or Chelsea.
The 29-year-old world player of the year is determined to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season after falling out of love with the club.Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has also been involved in a bust-up with Real president Florentino Perez and is open to the idea of getting another of his clients a big move.

Mendes represents Radamel Falcao and Perez was left angry that the Colombian joined United and did not make a move to the Bernabeu.
United have first option on re-signing Ronaldo and he would love to move back to United, the club he left in 2009 for £80m.

But according to the Daily Mail, they will have to stump up HALF-A-MILLION a week to get him.

While the player and the commercial department of the club are keen on a move, the final decision will be left with Louis van Gaal. United are committed to a £54m permanent deal for Falcao and Van Gaal might believe the money would be better spent elsewhere. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho worked with Ronaldo at the Bernabeu and is understood to be a huge fan of his countryman. — The Daily Star
