WARRIORS cheerleader Chris “Romario” Musekiwa is leading a social media drive to get fans to pack Rufaro and cheer the national team when they take on Guinea in a crucial 2017 Nations Cup qualifier on Sunday.

Musekiwa was part of the fans who made the trip to the Comoros recently when the Warriors took on the Indian Ocean islanders in a CHAN qualifier.

He describes Sunday’s match as an “epic clash” and has been drumming up support for the Warriors through the various social media sites.

“Zimbabwe versus Guinea epic clash is great opportunity for our beloved Warriors to get to the top of our Afcon qualifier group,” Romario wrote on his Facebook page yesterday.

“So, I humbly urge my fellow country men and women to give our gallant sons a massive boost of support by coming in our big numbers to rally them in this key encounter at Rufaro this Sunday.

“Let’s come with anything chinorira, ngoma, hosho or vuvuzela and create a carnival atmosphere to confuse the visitors.

“Brass band rinenge riri tii pahasha ipapo ichokwadi Mwari variko. Head coach Callisto Pasuwa is already sharpening his spears for his galaxy of stars in camp.

“The Great Khali is a tried-and-tested Warrior so with our maximum support he can deliver once again.
