The Southern Africa Investment Company will be hosting the Southern Africa Investment Forum in May 2015 as part of a concerted effort to improve investment within the Southern African region. The event promises to be an exclusive and influential gathering of governments, regional organisations, business organisations, and high net worth individuals from 14 Southern African countries to participate and it has been themed “Where Capital Meets Opportunity”.

The event will be capped at 500 participants to ensure that the value and integrity of the event remains top notch.

The participating delegates will be drawn from South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Namibia, Mauritius, Angola, Lesotho, Tanzania, Swaziland, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The forum is expected to put forward tangible and actionable opportunities in each country for investors to pour capital into. These opportunities will range from mining, technology and stretch even to infrastructural development and energy. Moreover, the forum is set to discuss funding and financing models for entrepreneurs and businesses within the region.

The purpose of the event is to provide a quality intersection for capital and opportunities in the region and a networking platform for high net worth and high powered individuals. Representatives from the Southern Africa Investment Company state that the event is designed to be less of a talk shop and more of an opportunity harvesting collective for investors and those needing investment.

The event is capped at 500 delegates and with ticket sales having opened in November. – Wires.
